Job Summary

As part of Aiea Bowl’s grand re-opening, a new VIP section has been added for those who join us on Friday and Saturday nights! The VIP Lane Host/Hostess will play a key role in offering the very best in customer service to guests in this area.
Job Responsibilities
- Able to talk it up – a great conversation and a smile goes a long way!
- Comfortable with standing for long periods of time.
- Keep a cool head in busy or stressful situations.
- Willing and able to help a team member in need, if asked.
- Tidy up and turnover the VIP area in between guests.
- Remember and comply with the Health Standards set forth by the Public Health Department of the State of Hawaii.
- Be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
- Maintain personal responsibility by arriving to work on time.

Job Responsibilities
- Process all bowling and party reservation requests, bookings, changes, and cancellations.
- Ensure the daily and monthly schedules are organized and up to date.
- Keep a detailed log of all correspondence and documents pertaining to customer reservations.
- Respond to emails promptly and efficiently.
- Stay up to date on all products, services, pricing and special promotional offers.

- Inspect and maintain quality control for products and produce that are delivered to The Alley – you’re the first line of defense!
- Monitor refrigerator and freezer temperatures so that all of our food items are kept in tip top shape.
- Assist with washing dishes and take charge with manning the dishwasher.
- Keep track of inventory in the kitchen.
- Assist co-workers in the kitchen and at the bakery counter, if needed.

- Handle the overall daily production of all cakes, pastries, and baked goods for the Alley Restaurant.
- Delegate daily responsibilities and duties to your bakery team.

- Work alongside the Executive Chef and restaurant management team in events or business relating to the restaurant.

- Able to take direction and feedback from the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef.
